The Matala Niagara Top Flow Pumps have a top water discharge and are powerful, reliable, and very durable. These pumps are designed to operate in water as low as 2 inches without overheating, due to their unique design. Water enters the direct drive pump through the bottom intake screen and flows over the motor, making the pump self-cooling.
Perfect choice for skimmers that tend to have low water levels or any other application that has shallow water levels. Can operate down to a 2 inch water depth!
These pumps are built to last, featuring a stainless steel, abrasion resistant housing and strainer for maximum durability. In addition, these pumps feature built-in thermal protection and also have double mechanical seals and heavy duty ball bearings. They are able to handle solids up to 3/8 inches in diameter and feature a 20 ft. power cord.
