i have a 1700 gallon pond with 3 destructive ducks, and this is the perfect filter system! a bit expensive though, and i broke it after a year when it froze in the ground and broke the plastic rim

You can really clean the filters with this fildter
Overall very good. The only question i had is that there are 2 different "O" rings. One has a flapper. I assumed it is to indicate flow thru the clear hose adapter. Vendor could not really answer question.

Great filtration system
Love the efficiency of filter. Do not really like the sponge replacement especially the cost and frequency of replacement.Must say that this filter performs as promised. My challenge now is to check on its longevity hence the four stars.

Crystal clear water
This is an excellent filter my pond went from swampy dark to almost crystal clear in just a few days. The previous model's rotator handle was a flawed design that I'm happy to say has been improved. Standard 1 1/2 inch plumbing fits all of the outlet/inlet ports to make life easy for hookup. It is a must to back wash or a regular basis or the pads will constrict and have to be disassembled to be cleaned. If you have a garden near your pond the back wash water is an amazing fertilizer. We hook a hose to ours to spread the "joy" to all of our plants.

Clear Pond, Very Please
I bought this to replace a filter I had from Xtremepower. It worked great for a little over 3 years when the UV light stopped working. when I tried to replace the bulb, I noticed the internal electrical connect had rust build up. So, the new bulb wouldn't work. After doing some research and mainly all the positive feedback on this particular filter, I decided to go with the G2. Within a couple of days of installation, the pond was clear. So, so far, it's been great. I also really like the easy clean feature. It definitely made cleaning the filter foam super simple and easy. I include a couple of pictures. day 1 when I noticed it was clearing and day 2, when everything was clear. While it may be a little pricey, I think it's worth the investment

Great filter, works great and easy to use.
Love this filter. Within a week my pond became crystal clear. When the product arrived the UV unit wasnt working. Customer service sent me a new electrical unit, which I was able to install in the filter. It works great and I couldnt be happier with this product. The backflush function is the best. My previous filter was impossible to clean. This one makes it very easy. Two thumbs up.

No need to over spend
I had a similar product at my last home and wanted to purchase again for my new pond, but it was pretty expensive. I took a chance on this filter because it looks identical to the last one I owned. Im glad that I made this choice because this filter works exactly the same as my last one & my water is clear.I would definitely recommend this filter.

Green water is gone.
I had tried everything to get rid of green water for six years but nothing worked. I was about ready to take my fish to the river and drain the pond. I am so glad I found this. Within 24 hrs. I could see the water clearing and a week later it was crystal clear. It's also easy to clean. I am very, very happy with it.
