With the AquaSurge Conversion Kit (29705), you can modify your AquaScape Pro Pump and transform it into an AquaSurge Pump. This amazing AquaSurge Conversion Kit contains the necessary parts for the conversion by using your existing Check Valve Assembly and Aquascape Skimmer.
If you have the Classic Series Skimmer and Check Valve, use the AquaSurge Conversion Kit (part # 29705) to connect the 1.5 inch female threaded outlet to the 1 1/2 inch male thread x 2 inch slip adapter. You need to cut off the 2 inches of black flexible PVC pipe located between the check valve and pump. Then the 1.5 male threaded part should be screwed into the pump. Lastly, the existing 2 inches of flexible PVC should be glued into the other end of the adapter.
If you have the Signature Series Skimmer and Check Valve, use the AquaSurge Conversion Kit to connect the 1.5 inch female threaded outlet to the 2 inch Aquascape Check Valve Adapter. It has a 1.5 inch male threaded part which should be screwed into the AquaSurge and 2 inch Aquascape custom-made flange to fit into the Aquascape 2 inch Check Valve.
You can now throw away the old parts as they will be of no use.
